Chocolate chip cookie? Meh. Pandan Cookies? O(≧∇≦)O HECK YEAH!

So much more awesome and delicious!

I grabbed the recipe from ” The Little Teochew“, and it was really easy! (Go there for the recipe and steps. It is explained beautifully there, so I don’t see the point of repeating it over here.) The only difference is that extract was used instead of essence.

My favourite part is sifting everything in a fine powdery mountain.

Butter, bitches!

Look at how beautiful that green pandan is? The dough was rather dry and hard so I had to add in 2 cups of water to make it knead-able.

All neatly placed, ready for some baking in the oven.

It’s better to go low on the heat and put them in longer, because they bake to perfection while avoiding being burnt to keep the amazing green colour of pandan!

& TADAH!

They were really delicious,  but I would suggest putting almonds or other nuts preferred (like the recipe suggested) because chocolate chips didn’t compliment it very well ( ̄へ ̄).

Enjoyed backing with my sister-in-law \(^∀^)メ(^∀^)ノ and we are planning to make even more soon! I hope its chocolate banana cupcakes -crosses fingers-!
